A contemporary fine art gallery in Foweys historical centre, just steps away from the quayside. The Old Bank Gallery offers a unique space to view an ever changing program of exhibitions while taking in the buzz of the creative hub that it has become.
Downstairs we have a warm and vibrant coffee bar, gallery shop, and social hub where people can drop in for a drink, browse carefully chosen gifts and catch sight of something unexpected on the walls.

Some buildings hold their character long after their original purpose has passed. The Old Bank Gallery is one of them — a former bank on the Fowey waterfront that has found a second life as something harder to define and more interesting to visit.
Come in and you’ll find a relaxed ground floor where good coffee and a well-stocked bar sit alongside original art. It’s a place to arrive, to linger, to talk. Tucked behind it, the original bank vault, all thick walls and quiet authority — now hosts intimate pop-up exhibitions: small shows in a space that makes everything feel considered.
Upstairs, the main gallery opens out into something more expansive. Each month we give the space over to a solo or group exhibition, showing the work of artists we genuinely believe in, Cornish makers and painters alongside artists from further afield who share a sensibility with this corner of the world. It’s a programme built on relationships, not
formulas.
We’re in the middle of evolving, too. A new seating area is taking shape upstairs, not to make us grander, but to make it easier to stay a little longer, look a little harder, and perhaps leave with something you hadn’t expected to want.
Fowey is a town that rewards the curious. We try to be the same.
